Key Features:

• We furnished the eating area with an extra-large table with a bench seat to accommodate all the kids. The formal dining room was turned into a playroom, so that mom can keep an eye on all four on the main floor when busy prepping meals or working in the office. The custom furnishings in the family room are kid and pet friendly, and we designed 3 upholstered ottomans so the kids could jump, play and hang out on without damaging themselves or the furniture. When the west sun sets in the evening, the custom drapes can be closed to keep out the harsh sunlight. All display items are out of reach of little hands and add visual interest in the space. We created a special room for mom at the front of the home, so she can kick back and relax after a long day. We replaced bright pot lights with hanging fixtures in a woven jute to add warmth and interest. The front entry plays off the boldness of the stairs, using black in the furnishings to anchor the space and add interest to the front entry.

• The basement is a haven for the family with a very oversized sectional upholstered in family friendly fabric that will stand up to almost anything. All art and accessories are again out of reach of little hands and add a fun and whimsical touch to the space.

• The primary bedroom is simple, yet warm and inviting. An oversized chair in the corner allows for mom to cuddle up for story time with the kids. A furnished balcony provides respite in the summer after long days and the blackout drapes keep it perfect for sleeping in!
