This Kelvin Grove home was an entire addition to the second story over the garage. The client needed a new ensuite and walk in closet and the only viable option was to add more living space over the garage. We created a large walk in closet off the ensuite, a large shower, double vanity and free stand tub. Luxurious finishes help to complete the spa like feel of the space. A statement crystal light over the tub and bespoke draperies complete the look. In addition we selected all the exterior finishes, ensuring the look of the addition tied into the existing structure, while updating the stone details and windows.
Key Features:
• We used full format porcelain slabs in the shower to keep grout lines to a minimum and make for easy cleaning.
• We added in-floor heating, using large scale tiles, in both the main bath area. Heating on the shower floor and bench in the steam shower is the ultimate luxury.
• We used polished nickel details for all the finishes adds sophistication and glamour to this space.
• A freestanding tub was a luxurious addition, plus we found a fabulous crystal chandelier to complete the look.
• Custom draperies from the bedroom are repeated in the ensuite to add warmth and texture to all the hard surfaces in the space.
