When you work with Charlene you’ll feel the difference immediately: a designer who listens deeply, leads with confidence, and turns each space she designs into a home, with both style and grace.
Charlene started LUSH Interiors in 2003 with a simple belief: a home should feel like a place you can exhale and feels deeply personal to the people that live in it. Two decades later, she’s still shaping spaces with that same quiet conviction.
Charlene has a gift for walking into a room and seeing not what it is, but what it wants to be. Her approach is instinctive yet measured. She listens closely, asks the right questions, and then builds spaces that feel lived-in, lasting, and unmistakably personal. Her background in design and business gives her the rare ability to guide complex renovations with both artistry and clarity. Charlene leads every project with a distinctly hands-on approach, the kind that keeps her closely connected to the work, the details, and the people behind them. She is fully immersed from the first conversation to the final install, guiding her team with focus, intuition, and a steady creative presence.
When she’s not immersed in layouts and finishes, Charlene supports her daughters as they navigate their post-secondary years. She also travels with her husband and escapes to the mountains as often as possible. Each summer, they retreat to their Manitoba cottage, a place that continues to shape her love of timeless, relaxed design.
Charlene Threatful is a proud member of the WPO Chapter IV Group in Calgary.
When you work with Tana you’ll have a steady, experienced guide through every stage of the renovation. Tana is someone who keeps the process smooth, the details sharp, and the final result beautifully aligned with the original vision.
Tana knows homes, how they’re built, how they breathe, and what it takes to honour them through change. With more than 20 years in Calgary’s home renovation industry, Tana brings a calm, grounded presence to every project. She’s the person clients instantly trust: steady, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in getting it right.
She thrives in the hum of a renovation: the collaboration, the problem-solving, the satisfaction of watching a design take shape exactly the way it was meant to. Tana is the ultimate multi-tasker, expertly managing day to day operations with a sharp eye for detail.
Raised in Calgary, Tana’s love of the mountains runs deep, and it shows in her appreciation for spaces that feel warm, honest, and connected. Outside the studio, her three grown kids and their families keep her world full. Tana finds joy in yoga, the mountains, travelling, and time spent with the people she loves.
When you work with Michaela you’ll experience design decisions that feel grounded, confident, and intentional. Michaela has a talent for making the future visible, helping clients see, feel, and trust the design long before the first hammer is lifted.
Michaela has the kind of eye that notices everything, the curve of a chair leg, the way afternoon light lands on a wall, the small details that make a space settle into itself. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Mount Royal University, she blends training with a natural sense of style that feels both modern and quietly expressive.
She shapes interiors that are as functional as they are beautiful, guiding clients through finishes, materials, and décor with thoughtfulness and ease. As LUSH’s in-house rendering artist, she transforms ideas into cinematic, lifelike visuals that give clients a clear glimpse of what’s to come.
When she’s not designing, Michaela is travelling, exploring new cultures, and uncovering thrifted gems that find their way into both her home and her inspiration boards. She’s also happiest outdoors, skiing, hiking, or playing volleyball with friends.
When you work with Kenzie you’ll feel her warm, thoughtful approach from the start. She is a designer who blends creativity with real-world expertise to shape spaces that feel personal, effortless, and deeply considered from the first concept to the final reveal.
Kenzie brings a bright, grounded energy to the studio, the kind that makes clients feel immediately at ease. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Toronto Metropolitan University and a strong background in custom home building, she understands both the art and the architecture behind a well-designed space.
Kenzie has a knack for creating interiors that feel effortless and deeply considered. Kenzie weaves finishes, décor, textures, and flow together with a natural intuition. She then brings them to life with beautifully detailed 3D renderings. Her warm personality shows up in her work: inviting, open, and full of character.
Outside of work, you’ll find Kenzie in the fresh air, skiing down a mountain, hiking a ridge, or simply catching up with friends.
