Rossland Home

This Calgary couple built their dream home in Rossland, BC. We worked closely with the architect, the builder and our clients to bring their dream home to fruition. Our clients wanted a modern, but warm and inviting space, so we used warm wood tones in the finishes and custom furnishings.

The iron beams and concrete floors give the home a modern edginess while the juxtaposition of the walnut and stone in the kitchen provide a dramatic effect. The Tulikivi fireplace anchors the room and adds warmth in the winter months. We added the client’s personality to the primary bedroom by using reclaimed wood as a backdrop to the modern bed and a vintage milk glass chandelier to mix the old with the new.
