Interior Designer who goes to Vegas

What happened in Vegas this January is not staying in Vegas. Why is that great news for you?

Because we believe one of the first questions you should ask of your designer before you take the plunge would be ‘are you up to date with current trends?’

In fact, because interior design trends come and go, if you are redesigning your home you may want to be sure your designer is looking ahead instead of decorating in the current trends that could go out of style sooner than you’d like.

An important way for an interior designer to stay ahead of trends is to attend industry events.

One of the home furnishing industry’s most anticipated events took place at the end of January. The 2019 Winter Las Vegas Market brings together retailers, designers and other professionals for four days to discover what industry leaders are showcasing as new and trending in furniture and home decor.

Gourmet Insider shares: “Las Vegas Market’s proprietary First Look program is a key differentiator, making Las Vegas a ‘must-see’ market for trend-forward companies in the furniture, home décor and gift industries,” said Karen Olson, svp/marketing for International Market Centers. “The multi-part program gives buyers and interior designers the latest trend forecasts and provides insight from industry thought leaders and trendsetters.”

The Las Vegas Markets First Look trend forecast for 2019, is centered around four central themes— Arctic, Desertscape, Adorn and ¡Fiesta!

Arctic: Brushed finishes, shimmery silver tones, upscale blues and cool greens.
